Day 3 - R & R

Today was a day of simple relaxation.  It was nice not to have to get in the truck and move for miles again! We have throughly enjoyed our day of rest!  We spent most of the day just chilling out and enjoying the cooler weather and nice breezes at the RV Resort.  We spent about an hour in the pool this afternoon, and had the pool all to ourselves!  Woohoo! Of course the water temperature of the pool here is a lot cooler than our pool in Texas!  It was very refreshing......

The dogs have had a continuous parade of visitors and everyone is amazed that they are so well behaved!  They have both proven to be excellent travelers and adjust to the traveling routine easily. Of course Penny, the Samoyed, is a veteran dog show traveler, so it is old hat to her.....just another day.........Lacy on the other hand, had to adjust to traveling, but has turned out to be a great traveler as well.

Most of the people here in the RV Resort have brought their ATV's with them, as there are numerous trails to ride them throughout the park.  They range in various sizes of vehicles and drivers, as the pictures below will show.  This is also a popular site for hunters in the fall.

It will be hard to leave this resort in the morning, but leave we must.  We will head to Chattanooga, TN to visit with a childhood friend of mine from New York.  It has been at least 37 years or more since I have seen her, so we have a lot of catching up to do! Isn't it wonderful how life comes full circle and those people that were once in our lives and left, surprisingly reappear.......I know it is a God thing...........:)

From Chattanooga we head to Lexington, NC to visit our Son Jason and his family for a few days.

Til next time...........
